I'm 5'8 can I ask about 27.5 Bike Frame is good for me?
❤
Wish I knew about this flip when I got a flat this morning several miles from home. I’ve been using the adapter to pump my tires for 25 years and I had the adapter with me this morning but no pump that could use it - or so I thought. I wound up calling my wife to bring me the “real” bike pump, and pumped the replacement tube with the adapter in no time. Presta is a perfect example of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. I’m sticking with the adapter.
Nice one 👍
nice, succinct video!!!
I have tried pressing both button but there is no light appearing but in my Garmin and E Tube App both shifters are 100 percent battery
I hate these valves ....wish there was a better way.
Ho, i have city bike with twisted gear, max at 6, for road climbing, i should use lower gear right., 1-3? For normal road and to get more faster, is it 5/6? Which one is correct? How about when you stop at traffic light or when you park the bike? Which gear should i use. Please advice. Thanks in advice.
My metal pedals wobble like these featured, I'm pretty sure they are worn, can anyone validate this for me?
You might be able to salvage them if they are just loose and the cups / cones have not been ground away. If they sound 'gritty' and are loose that is usually not a good sign. Your best bet is just to have a go , if you have the tools / time and possibly want a learning experience. Personally I have moved to Shimano PD-M520 SPD mountain bike pedals but of course these need shoes with cleats and at least for the UK you need to buy reflectors for them as an extra to stay legal at night. Also SPD type pedals don't have much scope for sideways adjustment so it is sometimes better to have the cheap ' flat pedals' as you can put your feet where you want. I know this is extra information but if you do decide you want replacement pedals it gives you a tiny bit of information what the options are.
@@dawn_rider Thank you for your response. Most helpful.
@@ianhill4585 I forgot to add that for my pedals you need a special axle removal tool which In my case is the TL-PD40 so you have to keep such things in mind for any new pedals you buy. Just for comparison to this video , this is what is involved for my pedals ua-cam.com/video/ifYjdH2aHd8/v-deo.html .
@@dawn_rider Cheers again.
Excellent tutorial,,no long introduction or hand waving,,, there are so many experts who just confuse everything,,,as you say ,,,,,,"keep riding ",,,🚴🏽
This is a weird queation but can they take a fare bit of abuse without breaking? I have a freeride hardtail and keep sucking 200$+ derailluers into the spokes and was wondering if this could be an option
I didn’t know this
Awesome subbed and liked
Hi! I can't seem to find this out anywhere online...what size wrench is the locknut on the headset? Is the locknut size the same one 1" and 1 1/8"? Thank you!! :) I'm struggling with a very stuck headset so my adjustable wrench isn't gonna cut it. I want to buy the specific size 'thin' wrench... Any advice would be helpful! Thank you again :))
Can u only change the front gears up if the rear gears r on the highest gear? 😅
This is actually a very good explanation! I know people that have been working on bike for 20+ years and don't know this basic info.
This is such an amazing thing and we’re very lucky we get it. I would however like to see possible help for carers as any of us caring full time for a loved one can’t get out to a job , we do get help from the government but it’s just enough to live on. I have a bike thankfully and the days I get where my sister comes to give me a break I cycle. It does my mental health so good and keeps me fit so I can do my job to my best ability. However if I hadn’t already had a bike I’d of never been able to afford one with the wage I’m on.
I don’t have plastic pedals but just dropping by to say thank you for all the work you put into these videos. I’ve learned such a lot from you and have managed to fix a few things on my bike I never would of known how to fix otherwise. Truly appreciate all the hard work and saving us all a bit of money by learning us how to fix things ourselves. A very valuable thing you’re doing mate 😊
Thank you for the good video! Clearly narrated!
How do you get the double sealed bearings out?
Great presentation..came in handy..was just trying to figure out what type of replacement bearings to purchase!
Bloody brilliant video...do more
Th derailleur hanger shown first,. for example at 0.43/7.11 is exactly what I am looking for. Where can I find it?

Recommended grit?
I knew the utility knife way now thanks to you I have other options
Nice one, direct to the point!
OMG I have seen this same old BS repeated so many times. So much cleaning & sanding, only for it to happen again & again. The simplest solution is to just carry a thin soap bar. To immediately stop the noises, dress the rotor with dry soap bar on both sides, which will lubricate the rotor against squealing frequencies, while also providing smooth stopping power. The detergent action of the soap will keep the brake components clean over time. No need to dress the pads, as the soap will immediately transfer from dressed rotor to pad.
so on my new bike one of the brakes started Squeaking and it sounds uneven cleaned it and nothing and the disc is strait and the other things seem fine to so going to have it serviced
best
Wow I’ve had my pump for 4 years and never knew how to use it properly 😮
Excellent video, cheers
Kindly show how to remove and fitting threaded headset parts.
बहोत ही बढ़िया वीडियो बनाया है 😊
Can convert it to XD driver?
what gear should I select?
Thank you for solving my 503 error, so easy and no need to go to bike shop now. A great help.
Thanks for this. I might have missed a previous video, but first select Gear 1
Hi, how often should I put lubricant on my nexus 7? And should I put lubricant there at all? What lubricant do you recommend?
hi, I'm planning to change the shifter from 6 to 7 while maintain the 6speed freewheel. Trying to adjust the high low screw to position it correctly. Do you think this will work?
Clean the discs with a toothbrush and washing up liquid,or fine sandpaper.
Great vid. My headset wobbles, now I know where to start. Thx!
Everything essential explained in 5 minutes - perfect!
I’m looking forward to trying your top tips
❤ WELL EXPLAINED
I put mine backwards, and i was to lazy to put it in the right way.
Thank you so much for making this very useful video :)
You absolute star!! Just got this error code on my way home... nearly broke into tears as I can't afford a service on my bike right now.... Just my sensor know out of sync.... thank you xx
Well explained . Thanks. What is the lock and unlock postion of the lever? I believe "closed"position of lever is "unlock" and "arise" position of lever is "lock". Correct me if I am wrong. I am using similar type small Btwin hand pump.
Top deck video. I've been riding for many years but my gear work has been reflex. I've never been able to teach anyone else. Now I have a series of steps which are clearly explained that has cleared my thinking and which I can use for teaching others. Wunderbar. Thank you.
